Physical Therapy for Children
Physical therapy (PT) is an effective treatment for a variety of injuries and childhood disorders that affect muscles, bones and joints. Our certified pediatric physical therapists are experienced in the diagnosis, treatment and management of skeletal, developmental, neuromuscular, acquired diseases and disorders. PT is often recommended for kids with autism and other developmental delays, as well as children with cerebral palsy, spina bifida and other physical challenges. Physical therapy treatment focuses on a range of modalities to improve fine/gross motor skills, range of motion, balance and coordination, gait, endurance and strength in children. PT also compliments cognitive and sensory processing and integration.
